17/18 Residency Verification

17/18 Residency Verification is Now Due to NHS:

The Irvine Unified School District will once again require residency verification for all IUSD students enrolling for the 2017-18 school year. This process is an annual legal requirement in California and it helps our district ensure that all available resources are spent efficiently and effectively to the benefit of our Irvine families. Moreover, these additional steps will help provide a full and precise accounting of our student population as we review staffing for the coming year.

By completing the following forms for each of your students, you will be making a formal declaration that your child lives within IUSD’s attendance boundaries. Hard copies of the Residency Verification documents are available in the front office at NHS. Also, for your convenience, below is a link to these Residency Verification forms, allowing you to fill them out and print them at home:

Completed residency forms are due to NHS’s front office by Friday, March 31, 2017.

A list of acceptable documents to prove residency are included on the Residency Verification Form and can also be found by clicking here.

  • If you plan to enroll a new student, please visit the IUSD website at for the required documents, complete all required steps and gather all required documents before contacting NHS Registrar Peggy Loveless for an enrollment appointment at 949-936-7228.
  • If you are considered a co-resident(you and your family are living with the owner or renter of your residence),please complete the “Co-Residency Supplemental Form.” This documentation must be completed as part of the Residency Verification and Affidavit Forms by parents or guardians whose family shares a home with another family or individual.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, please contact Martha DellaMaggiore at 949-936-7218.
